To mount a SCALANCE XCM-100 to an S7-1500 mounting rail, follow the steps below:
1. Place the upper enclosure guide of the device on the top edge of the S7-1500 mounting rail.
2. Press the device down against the S7-1500 mounting rail until the spring-loaded securing bar
locks in place.
3. The device is correctly mounted when the back of the device is in contact with the front of
the S7-1500 mounting rail without clearance.
