WINDOW KIT INSTALLATION
Your window kit has been designed to fit
most standard "vertical" and "horizontal"
window applications. However, it may be
necessary for you to improvise/modify
some aspects of the installation procedures
for certain types of windows.
(See picture 04(E) on page 6).
Horizontal
• Window slider kit
• Minimum: 27-1/ 2" (70 cm)
• Maximum: 48 (122cm)
Vertical
• Window slider kit
• Minimum: 27-1/ 2" (70 cm)
• Maximum: 48 (122cm)
Depending on the portable AC purchases,
window kit could be fixed to the window
by screws or by a clip, as it is shown in the
picture below:
(See picture 04(F) on page 6).
If your kit uses screws (See picture 04(G)
on page 6).:
• Measure the size of the window;
• Adjust the length of the plate according
to the size of the window.
• Fix the plate with a screw
If your kit uses clips (See picture 04(H) on
page 6):
• Measure the size of the window;
• Adjust the length of the plate according
to the size of the window;
• Block the plate.
Attach the plate to the window:
(See picture 04(I) on page 6).
CASEMENT WINDOWS' KIT
If you have a casement window, please
note that the window kit included with
this appliance is not compatible.
In case of a casement window, we suggest
to purchase the corresponding kit (model
UACC4005-20) through our website www.
universalblue.es.

The exhaust pipe is designed especially for
this model. Do not replace or lengthen it,
otherwise a failure will occur. The exhaust
air duct can be stretched up to 1500 mm. To
avoid bending, stretch as short as possible.

Display window: the display will
show the set temperature.
15. Remote control window: this window
indicates whether the device is
receiving a signal from the remote
control.
16. Timer button: press this button when
the appliance is turned off to establish
the time you want the appliance turns
on. Press the buttons up or down to
establish desired time from 1 to 24
hours. Press the button timer again
to turn off the timer. If you want the
appliance turns off at an specific time,
press timer button and stablish when
the appliance must stop working,
once time is up, the appliance will
turn off automatically.
17. Fan button: press this button to
establish desired speed, low, medium
or high.
18. Up button: press this button to
increase temperature or time.
19. Down button: press this button to
decrease temperature or time.
20.
Mode button: press this button to
select cool, wind, dehumidifier or
heat mode. Heat mode may take some
minutes to start working, it is normal.
21. On/off button: press this button to
turn the appliance on or off.
Some functions are activated with the
following instructions:
• Swing function: air conditioner's blades
can oscilate to distribute the air evenly.
