10.2 Signal anode

When operating the cylinder without consumption indi-
cator, leave the plug in the threaded hole.
f Pull the plug out whilst simultaneously pushing the pressure
ring down.
f Push the open pipe end of the consumption indicator into the
aperture of the anode.
10.3 Preparing the "DHW circulation" connection, if
applicable
You can fit a DHW circulation line to the "DHW circulation" connec-
tion, or you can use the "Thermometer "connection where appro-
priate (see chapter "Specification / Dimensions and connections").
f Extend the connection for the DHW circulation line before
fitting the thermal insulation.
10.4 Thermal insulation
The thermal insulation is available as accessory (see chapter "Ap-
pliance description / Accessories").
f Fit the thermal insulation according to the instructions sup-
plied. For this, ensure that there is enough space for the
installation task.
f Affix the label "Signal anode information" in a clearly visible
position on the thermal insulation.

f Insert the thermometer as far as it will go and align it.
10.6 DHW connection and safety assembly
10.6.1 Safety instructions
Note
Carry out all water connection and installation work in
accordance with regulations.
DHW line
Copper is an approved material.
10.6.2 Connection
f Flush the pipes thoroughly.
f Install the DHW outlet line. Connect the hydraulic connec-
tions with flat gaskets.
f Size the drain so that water can drain off unimpeded when
the safety valve is fully opened.
f Fit the discharge pipe of the safety valve with a constant
downward slope and in a room free from the risk of frost.
f The safety valve discharge aperture must remain open to the
atmosphere.
f Check the stability of the connecting pipes and secure them
further, if required.
