2) Reduce the amount of gap adjustment shims (thickness of shim: approx. 0.2
mm), then install the spacer, gap adjustment shim, bolt assembly and fixing
plate.
3) Measure the gap. The gap must be between 0.3 and 0.4 mm. (Confirm that the
0.3 mm leaf can be inserted, but the 0.4 mm leaf cannot.)
11. Reassemble the motor brake.
Note 1: Coat the hex bolt for the fan with thread-locking fluid.
Note 2: Make sure that the holes on the release plates (removed at step 7) are
aligned with the holes on the waterproofing washer and the release plate fixing
holes. If the locking pins do not fit easily, the holes may be mis-aligned. Check the
alignment and re-align as necessary.
