Chapter 4: UEFI BIOS
MMCFG Base
This feature determines how the lowest MMCFG (Memory-Mapped Configuration) base is
assigned to onboard PCI devices. The options are 1G, 1.5G, 1.75G. 2G, 2.25G, and 3G.
NVMe Firmware Source
This feature determines which type of the NVMe firmware should be used in your system.
The options are Vendor Defined Firmware, and AMI Native Support.
VGA Priority
Use this feature to select the graphics device to be used as the primary video display for
system boot. The options are Onboard and Offboard.
CPU1 Slot 1 PCI-E 3.0 x16 OPROM/SIOM CPU1 PCI-E 3.0 x16 OPROM
Select EFI to allow the user to boot the computer using an EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface)
device installed on the PCIe slot specified by the user. Select Legacy to boot the computer
using a legacy device installed on the PCIe slot specified by the user. The options are
Disabled, Legacy and EFI. (Note: Riser card names may differ in each system.)
Bus Master Enable
Select Enabled for the PCI Bus Driver to enable the Bus Master Attribute support for DMA
transactions. If this setting is set to Disabled, the PCI Bus Driver will disable the Bus Master
Attribute support for Pre-Boot DMA protection. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Onboard LAN1 Option ROM
Select PXE to boot up your system using a legacy device installed on LAN 1 port. Select EFI
to boot up your system using an EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) device installed on LAN
1 port. Select iSCSI to boot up your system using an iSCSi device installed on LAN 1 port.
Select Legacy to boot up your computer using a legacy device installed on on LAN 1 port.
The options are Disabled, PXE, iSCSI, and EFi.
Onboard LAN2 Option ROM
Select PXE to boot up your system using a PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) device
installed on LAN 2 port. If this feature is set to Disable, no device installed on LAN 2 port will
be used for system boot. The options are Disabled and PXE
Onboard NVMe1 Option ROM ~ Onboard NVMe10 Option ROM
Select EFI to allow the user to boot the computer using an EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface)
device installed on the NVMe slot specified by the user. Select Legacy to allow the user to
boot the computer using a legacy device installed on the PCIe slot specified by the user. The
options are Disabled, Legacy and EFI. (Note: NVMe device names may differ in each system.)
