About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, IT technicians, and knowledgeable end users.
It provides information for the installation and use of the X11DPT-BR motherboard.
About This Motherboard
The X11DPT-BR motherboard supports dual Intel® Xeon Scalable-SP or 2nd Generation
Intel® Xeon Scalable-SP processors (Socket P) with a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of up to
205W and two UPI (UltraPath Interconnect) links of up to 10.4GT/s. Built with the Intel C621
chipset, this motherboard supports up to 6TB of 3DS LRDIMM/LRDIMM/3DS RDIMM/RDIMM/
NV-DIMM DDR4 ECC 2933*/2666/2400/2133 MHz memory in 24 DIMM slots. (See Note2
below.) It also supports up to 9TB memory with Intel® Optane™ PMem 100 series modules
installed (See Note 3 below). The X11DPT-BR includes two slots for riser card support,12
SATA 3.0 ports, one SATADOM slot, and two USB 3.0 ports. The X11DPT-BR provides
maximum performance, system cooling, PCIe capacity, and I/O flexibility. This motherboard
is ideal for high-performance server platforms. Please note that this motherboard is intended

Note 1. UPI and memory speeds are dependent on the processors installed in your
system.
Note 2. 2933 MHz memory is supported by 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable-SP (82xx/62xx
series) processors only.
Note 3. This motherboard also supports up to 9TB memory with Intel Optane PMem
100 series memory modules installed based on the Optane PMem memory population
tables in the memory section in Chapter 2.
Note 4. Intel Optane PMem 100 series memory is supported by 2nd Gen Intel Xeon
Scalable-SP 82xx/62xx/52xx/4215 series processors only.
