5.2.1 Connection Examples of Switchgear Control Network

5.2.1.1 Option 1
If the Digital Gateway is directly connected to CMES Edge a cross-over network cable is used.
On the Digital Gateway, the cable must be connected to the LAN2 Ethernet port, on CMES
Edge
the cable must be connected to the designated Ethernet connector. The cable type is CAT5 or
higher.
