Required for Installation

Connect

Pair with a smart bulb

If Using a Philips Hue Bridge*

1. Search "PhilipsR HueR" and download the app
   
   
   
   
2. Follow screen prompts
   Settings > Accessory Setup > Add Accessory > Friends of Hue Switch

If pairing directly to a Philips Hue bulb (no bridge)**

1. Turn bulb OFF and then back ON; this enables bulb pairing for 15 minutes
   
2. 
   Hold button until LED on the unit blinks slowly, ~9 seconds.
   After 6 seconds the bulb will flash, continue to hold. Repeat to add additional bulbs.

* Update to the latest app and Hue bridge software. Only compatible with Philips Hue square-shape bridge V2. Not compatible with round-shape bridge V1.

Mounting to a Toggle Switch

1. Make sure the bulb is ON
   
   
2. While the light is ON, place base over the toggle switch as shown
   
   
3. Install mounting base *
   
   While holding the base against the wallplate, securely fasten using a Phillips screwdriver
4. Attach knob to mounting base
   

Battery Replacement

1. Pull knob straight away from the base
   
   
2. Loosen screw and open battery door
   
   
3. Slide to remove/install

Restoring Factory Defaults

To erase device settings and return to factory defaults, tap button quickly 3x. On final tap, continue to hold for 3 seconds or until LED begins to blink. Quickly tap button 3x again.
