    Precision 500 User Manual General Safety The construction of the Precision 500 generator conforms to CEI / OSHA regulations as they do not store any appreciable amount of hydrogen internally. The generator only produces gas when the application places a demand on the unit.

    Precision 500 User Manual Generator Safety Features The Precision 500 hydrogen generator has the following safety features to ensure safe and reliable operation: To avoid any build up of hydrogen from leaks inside the unit; the generator features forced air ventilation. This ensures that a hydrogen / oxygen mixture cannot form inside the generator.

These solutions are easily drawn into the high purity hydrogen gas system and can cause irreparable damage to a GC column. If a liquid solution has to be used, then it should be IPA based, or a portable hydrogen detector should be used.
