The machine is connected to the mains supply via
the electrical cable. Make sure that the capacity
of the electrical system available is suitable for the
maximum power consumption, indicated on the
coffee machine. Switch in OFF position = 0, switch
in ON position = 1 (in ON position the button lights
up red).
Electrical connection
The machine is connected to the power mains
by means of the electric cable fitted with a wired
plug. It is recommended to connect the plug to an
electrical outlet equipped with a local switch or
disconnector on the electrical panel (differential
current equal to 30mA).
Equipotential connection
This connection, required by some regulations,
prevents differences in electrical potential between
the grounds of the devices installed in the same
room. The machines prepared for this connection
are fitted with the relevant terminal (1) located on
the bottom of the machine. The connection is made
by connecting an external equipotential connector
of the proper size to the relevant terminal (1), in
compliance with current regulations.
1
Use of the machine must always
take place with the methods,
timing and location set out by good
technical practice, in accordance
with current regulations and
complying with workplace health
and safety standards as set out
by the current laws of the country
where the machine is used.
The power cables and water supply
pipe must be long enough to allow
the machine to be moved, without
disconnecting them, to carry out
cleaning operations in the lower
part of the machine.
