To release the 5th seatbelt in a 2021 BMW X2:

1. Hold the safety belt firmly.
2. Press the red button in the belt buckle.
3. Use the buckle tongue (arrow 1) to open the second safety belt buckle (arrow 2).
4. Guide the safety belt to the mount in the roofliner.
