Milk or formula must be shaken
thoroughly before heating and again
at the end and tested carefully before
feeding a baby.

Babies bottles - Caution!
After heating by Microwave, liquid at the top of a bottle will be much hotter
than at the bottom of the bottle and must be shaken thoroughly before
checking the temperature. When testing the temperature of the milk, squirt a
not hot.
For 250 ml of milk from fridge temperature, remove top and teat. Heat on High
Microwave for 45 seconds.
Check carefully.
For 100 ml of milk from fridge temperature, remove top and teat. Heat on High
Microwave for 20 seconds.
Check carefully.
Note
Liquid at the top of the bottle
will be much hotter than at
the bottom. The bottle must
be shaken thoroughly and
tested before use. We do not
recommend that you use
your microwave to sterilise
a special microwave steriliser
to the low quantity of water
involved. It is vital to follow
the manufacturers instructions
implicitly.
