Wide-Band Dome Antenna
Installation Instructions
The Wide-Band Dome Antenna is designed for horizontal installation on a ceiling.
It
is
not designed for a vertical or slanted surface, such as a wall.
Select a location on the ceiling that you have attic access from above to run the antenna
cable from the signal booster to the Wide-Band Dome Antenna. Verify that your chosen
location allows for the necessary separation between the dome antenna and the outside
antenna (see signal booster installation
instructions
for antenna separation requirements).
■
Drill a 3/4-inch hole and feed the antenna cable (from signal booster) in attic above
down through the drilled hole (stay clear of ceiling studs when drilling hole). The
antenna should be located near the center of the area where improved signal
strength is desired.
■
Remove nut from the antenna and attach to cable that you feed through the hole.
Pull cable with antenna attached from above and into the hole. Detach the cable
from the antenna, slide the nut onto the pigtail of antenna and tighten from above.
Be careful not to over-tighten. Reconnect the antenna to the cable. Attach the other
end of the cable to the Inside Connector of the signal booster.
