Abnormal noise from the
unit
The unit is not cooling suf-
ficiently.
Disparate operation, with
a large variation of the
volume of air.
Cause
Fan Step 4 is activated
(only suited for shorter
duration of use).
The installation has not
been done correctly.
The unit is a HCV 3
which does not have a
built-in bypass-module.
The outside air might be
heated up before enter-
ing the house.
The temperatures are
outside the established
limits, which must be
met in order to achieve
cooling with the help of
bypass. See the sec-
tion "Set points and
control strategies" in
the installation guide.
The unit is probably set
on Automatic Demand
Mode which will vary
the volume of air ac-
cording to the needs in
the house and the hu-
midity level of the ex-
tract air.
Action
Turn the unit back to Fan Step
1, 2, 3 or activate Automatic
Demand Mode.
Contact to your installer to get
the unit correctly balanced
There are no malfunctions.
Contact to your installer.
Activate Manual Bypass Mode
and cooling is active for the
next 6 hours.
It is recommended to set the
unit in Manual Operation
Mode and choose the fan step
which meets the demands
most optimal (normally Fan
Step 3).
It is not advisable to operate
with air flow rates beneath the
amount demanded by the
house with reference to national
law regulations, otherwise it can
create a risk of damage from
damp and reduced air quality.
