Cruise Control

Cruise control can be used to maintain a selected vehicle
speed, above 24 km/h (15 m.p.h., without having to use the
accelerator.
(A) RES - Resume the set
speed retained in
memory.
(B) SET '+' / '–' - Set the
speed or accelerate /
decelerate.
(C) On / Off - Switches
cruise control On / Off.
(D) CAN - Cancels cruise
control but retains the set
speed in memory.

Cruise Control On /Off
Use the 'On / Off' switch (C) to activate / deactivate cruise
control. Under certain conditions cruise control will
automatically switch off (Refer to 'Cruise Control Automatic
Switch Off', page 4.21). When cruise control is active
'Cruise' will show in the message display (left) (Refer to
'Instrument Cluster', page 4.4).
Setting Vehicle Speed
Warning
Only use cruise control when conditions are favourable,
for example, straight, dry, open roads with light traffic.
When travelling at the desired speed, which must be above
24 km/h (15 m.p.h., press the 'SET' (+ or –) button (B).
Cruise control will engage and maintain that speed without
the need to use the accelerator pedal.
Cruise control will automatically disengage when the brake
pedal is pressed or when the vehicle speed falls below
24 km/h (15 m.p.h.).
