You can control the multiplexer either locally or remotely from a PC. To switch
between the two states:
Local → Remote: send a command
Remote → Local: press <Local> on the front panel of Type 5998
The current state of the reciprocity calibration apparatus is indicated by the Re-
mote LED on the front panel.
Commands
Type 5998 is remotely controlled by sending a string which sets all required param-
eters. If a parameter is not included, the value is not changed. The commands are
