7. When the oven is ready for use, the blinking
'PREHEATING' ends; the oven alert will
sound, and the timer will start counting
down. Place the food directly on the wire
rack, or on the included air fry/dehydrate
basket, pizza pan, broiling rack and/or
roasting pan. Ensure the food is centered in
the oven for the most even cooking.
a) Close the oven door.
b) The timer will continue to count down.
The cooking temperature and time can be
adjusted during the cooking cycle.
c) At the end of the cooking cycle, the oven
alert will sound, the START/STOP button
backlight will go out and the LCD screen
will illuminate white.
NOTE
The cooking cycle can be stopped at any time
by pressing the START/STOP button. This will
cancel the cycle and the button backlight will
disappear.
NOTE
Press the CONVECTION button to choose
between no convection, convection and super
convection. Convection and super convection
may adjust the temperature to compensate.
Super convection will deliver crispier food
result.

OVEN RACK

The BOV950 oven rack can be inserted in
an up or down orientation. This enables
eight different rack heights utilizing just four
separate rack slots. (see figures below).
The position of the rack in the oven is almost
as important as the cooking temperature.
Breville has tested and determined optimum
rack positions for certain functions. This
information is highlighted on the screen.
To optimize cooking performance; when
inserting the rack, rotate its orientation in one
of the four slots to achieve one of the eight rack
positions suited for the function you are using.
If a rack position is not specified on the LCD,
then the placement of the rack will not have
an effect on the food result. In this instance,
simply place the oven rack in a slot that best
suits your requirements.
