Checks during Wet or Rain conditions
PRE- WET RUN CHECKS
In addition to the above make sure that:
•
Close the holes of the front and rear motor using TESA tape (or similar if it is waterproof)
•
Close the holes of the footplate to avoid water leak inside the chassis if you are not using all the 10 bolts
•
Make sure that all the connectors of the external wiring are protected by a transparent sheath
AFTER WET-RUN CHECKS
Based on the experience gained during the many track tests done, the checks to be done after a WET run are indicated
below:
•
Before removing the footplate, dry any water present paying attention to the area of the screws (using
compressed air and paper) to avoid water leak inside the scooter
•
Dry all the cables and connectors outside from the chassis using air compressed:
o Underneath the footrest (rear part of the vehicle)
o On the front part of the vehicle, steering system, dash, maps ... To be sure to remove all water residues,
remove the front cover of the scooter.
o LED stripes connectors, removing the upper body
•
If conditions are now dry (no rain, dry asphalt) remove the tape from the holes of the motors
•
Make sure that all the connectors of the external wiring are protected by a transparent sheath
