Enabling or disabling network boot for a NIC
Use the Network Interface Cards (NICs) option to enable or disable network boot for an installed NIC. Devices listed vary from system to
system and can include, for example:
Embedded LOM 1 Port 1
Embedded FlexibleLOM 1 Port 1

You might need to configure the NIC firmware to activate the boot option.
Procedure
Procedure
1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Network Options > Network
Boot Options.
2. Select a NIC.
3. Select a setting.
Network Boot—Enables network boot.
Disabled—Disables network boot.
4. Save your changes.
5. If you selected Network Boot, reboot the server so that the NIC boot option appears in the boot order list.
