Adjust extraction fan by setting the witch

Open supply stop-cock #.
The supply stop-cock # should
always remain slightly open so that
there is a constant circulation of water in
the panel.
Turn on the light by adjusting the switch @
to position "I". Raise the safety screen £
so that its equipment (bright-plating bath,
gold plating bath, etc.) becomes readily
accessible to work with. Finished parts
must be thoroughly rinsed in the tank.
The manufacturer`s safety
instructions must be strictly observed
when handling acids and other aggressive
media.
On completion of the work in the fume
cupboard, pull down the safety screen £ to
its stop point, and turn off the light by
adjusting the switch @ to position "0".
However, do not switch off extraction as
the fume cupboard may still contain gases
and vapours that have to be drawn off.
