Auto Hold
The auto hold function cannot guarantee
the stability of the vehicle when starting off
or braking on hills especially on slippery or
icy surfaces.
When auto hold stops the vehicle for
reasons such as power system shutdown,
releasing the seat belt or pressing the auto
hold switch, the electronic parking brake is
applied. It cannot be guaranteed that the
vehicle will be stabilised in all cases. For
example, the rear wheels are on a snowy or
slippery road surface, or the vehicle incline
is too great. Please make sure that the
vehicle is safely stabilised prior to exiting.
The driver should pay full attention and
observe the surroundings even if the vehicle
is equipped with auto hold system.
