On the Software Utilities CD-ROM, browse to \Platform\Windows\Operat-
ing System\Driver\Language, and select OK.
For example, \Windows\WIndows ME, 98 & 95\Driver\English.

On the screen displaying
MINOLTA-QMS Advanced Level 2/3 Driver
browse back to your desktop folder.

Select OK.
A test page can now be printed for the magicolor 3100 in the Printers folder.

Macintosh

You can connect your printer by several different methods.
Connect your printer to the network with an Ethernet cable.
Connect your printer to the network with a crossover Ethernet cable.
Connect your printer to your Macintosh with a USB cable.
Macintosh—EtherTalk Interface Configuration
This section briefly describes the configuration procedure for the printer
interface. You can make these configuration changes through any of the
following means:
Printer control panel
Print Utility for Macintosh
Remote Console
CrownView
When your printer boots up, it finds a default zone. If your network has more
than one zone, use the Administration/Communications/Resident NIC/
CrownNet/EtherTalk/Zone Name/Zone Part 1 and Zone Part 2 menus to enter
the name of the zone to which the printer is attached if you want it to appear
in a zone different than the one it shows in.

The two Zone Part x menus allow you to identify 1 zone with a name
up to 32 characters long. (Up to 16 characters can be entered in each
of the two menus). You cannot use these two menus to identify two
zones. Trailing spaces are not considered part of the zone name. All
standard printable ASCII characters are valid except the @ and '
symbols. The names are case sensitive.
