Opening the Fuel Filler Door

1. Move the gear to the P (Park) position,
apply the parking brake, and move
the ignition switch to the LOCK/OFF
position.
2. Make sure that the driver's door is
unlocked.
3. Press the rear center edge of the fuel
filler door.
4. Pull the fuel filler door
access the fuel tank cap.
5. To remove the fuel tank cap
counterclockwise. A hissing noise is
heard because the pressure inside the
tank equalizes.
6. Place the cap on the fuel filler door.
The fuel filler door unlocks when the
driver's door is unlocked.
