The spring brake cylinders use a diaphragm cylinder (A)
for the travel brake/parking brake and a spring brake
section (B) for emergency braking.
NOTE: Before using the machine: Check that the screws
(C) on each cylinder are fully tightened, to ensure that the
emergency brakes will be able to operate.
6.2
Switching between transport and
working position
Switching to the transport position must be
carried out on level ground. Do not allow the
machine to lean laterally.
6.2.1
Switching to transport mode
1. Select the neutral gear position or depress the clutch.
Do not apply the service or parking brake. The tractor
must be allowed to roll backwards when the packer is
tilted.

2. Raise the front tools.

3. Fold out the machine.
For larger tractors and crawler tractors, it is not
enough to simply put them into neutral. Slowly drive
the last part of the folding system backwards to avoid
prying off the tyres.

4. Tilt the Packer completely backwards.

5. Drive the tractor slowly forward.
