Front Panel of an XRE200 External Routing Engine

The front panel of an XRE200 External Routing Engine consists of the following components:
Chassis LEDs—Power LED, Hard disk LED, and Hardware LED
LCD panel
Console port (labeled CON)
Management (labeled (MGMT)
USB port
Virtual Chassis Ports (VCPs)—1 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet native VCP (0) and either 4
10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet ports or 4 1000BASE-X GbE SFP ports on the Virtual Chassis
Control Interface (VCCI) modules
Gigabit Ethernet port LEDs—Link/Activity LED and SPD LED
Hard Disk Drive (HDD) LEDs—Hard disk Activity LED and Hard disk Failure LED
