Reliability Factors
The mean interval between failures of the library unit, less the tape
drives, is:
•
185,000 power-on hours (POH) mean time between failures
(MTBF), or
•
1,000,000 mean load/unload cycles between failures (MCBF),
where a failure is charged against one or the other, but not both.
ATL Corporation does not warrant that predicted mean interval
between failures is representative of any particular unit installed for
customer use. Actual figures vary from unit to unit.
