    Introduction Removing the Library from the Shipping Carton This document explains how to unpack the ATL M2500 library. This document is provided as a reference only. This Warning: product requires professional installation by Quantum- authorized personnel. Non-authorized personnel should not attempt unpacking or installation.     Remove the transit screw from the top of the library and set it aside (see figure Later in this procedure you will place the transit screw in a storage location within the library in case it is needed for future repackaging and shipment of the library.

    Close the magazine access doors. The library is now unpacked and ready to be installed in its final location. Refer to the Quantum ATL M-Series Library Installation Guide (6423001) for installation instructions. The tape drives are sent separately from the library.
