The entire screen is touch-activated. Spend a few minutes touching various items
on the screen to see how they work.
•
To make a selection, touch the screen with a fingernail, fingertip, pencil
eraser, or a stylus. (See Figure 7.)
•
Do not touch the screen with a sharp object, such as the tip of a ball
point pen!
•
Touch buttons, words, or icons to select them.
•
Touch buttons or check boxes to change settings.
•
Use scroll bars to move up and down long lists very quickly. Touch and hold
the scroll bar, then move the fingertip up or down to move through the list.
•
Highlight an item from a list by touching it once. When the item has been
successfully selected, it will be displayed as reversed text (light text on a dark
background).
The Main Menu appears when the instrument is turned on. Figure 8 shows the
Main Menu on the standard software package. Figure 8 shows the Main Menu on
the advanced software package.
