Using Your Rangehood

Before first use
IMPORTANT: THIS PROCESS MUST BE FOLLOWED BEFORE THE RANGEHOOD IS USED
FOR THE FIRST TIME.
Cleaning
 You should use a mild liquid detergent and a damp cloth on all the external areas of
your rangehood before it is used for the first time. This will help to remove any residues
from the manufacturing process.
To use your rangehood
Make sure that it has been installed by a suitably qualified person, as per the

information contained in these installation instructions.
Find the control panel, which is located in the middle of the rangehood.

The control panel contains switches, as shown in the picture below. These perform

separate functions.
Your rangehood's control panel
Push the Power button, the motor will run at the lowest speed. Push again to turn the

motor off and enter standby mode.
Push the Timer button, this sets a 5 minute timer. The indicator light of this button will

turn on. When the time is up, the lights and rangehood will turn off. To cancel press the
Timer button again or change the motor speed.
Push the Light button and the two lights will come on. Push it again and the light will turn

off.
Push the Increase button, the motor will run at an increased speed up to four increased

speed levels. 1 Button Push will increase the speed by 1 level.
Push the Decrease button, the motor will run at a decreased speed lowering up to four

speed levels. 1 Button Push will lower the speed by 1 level.
