    9. Confirm your settings by pressing the button. Calibration Explanation Essentially, once the Facescan has been installed, a re-calibration of the GALILEOS unit has to be performed. The Facescan is automatically calibrated during the 3D calibration of GALILEOS using the 3D calibration phantom (A).

    IMPORTANT: White balance Constant lighting conditions If the lighting conditions during white balancing deviate from those of subsequent FaceScan operation, this can result in color errors during FaceScan exposures. ➢ Ensure that the lighting conditions during white balancing correspond with those of the later FaceScan operation.

     The white balance starts. During this time, the LEDs of the FaceScan are on for the duration of the white balance. The white balance takes a minimum of 2 minutes (up to 20 minutes in the event of errors).
