Significance
The disc inserted is a CD for computer data.
Recording and erase functions are not pos-
sible.
The CD-R or CD-RW has no available time.
99 tracks have been recorded on the disc.
Further recording is not possible.
Recording is not possible. This may be
caused by poor connections or disc trouble.
When performing digital recording of an
external component, the digital signal from
the component is not being sent or the sig-
nal being sent cannot be recorded by this
unit.
In accordance with SCMS regulations, digi-
tal recording cannot be performed.
The digital signal is not an audio format.
The
REC/REC MUTING button has
been pressed at a time when the function
cannot be performed.
Not enough time remains on the disc to con-
tinue synchronized recording from the 3-
CD changer to the CDR.
Trouble with the CD-RW has prevented
finalization from being performed.
A CD-RW has not been inserted. Erase and
Unfinalize functions are not possible.
Trouble with the CD-RW has prevented an
erase function from being performed.
Trouble with the CD-RW has prevented the
Unfinalize function from being performed.
The Unfinalize function cannot be per-
formed with discs recorded using the
"DISC at Once" recording system.
The maximum number of 21 tracks on the
disc that can be skipped has been reached.
Skip marking more than 21 tracks is not
possible with this unit.
Remedy
Check to see if the CD-ROM is recorded in
audio for mat. If not, replace with a disc
recorded using the CD-DA format.
Replace with another recordable CD-R or
CD-RW. Finalization of the disc is recom-
mended.
Finalize the disc. Replace the disc to per-
form further recording.
Check connections and/or replace the disc.
Check the connection between the compo-
nent and this unit and confirm that the digi-
tal signal being output from the component
is compatible with this unit.
Switch the source selection to select input
from the analog connections, and perform
analog recording.
Set the source component to output a digital
audio signal. For example, if a data track on
a CD is selected, switch to a track that con-
tains audio data.
See page 22 for information on when the
muting function can be used, and press the
REC/REC MUTING button when the
function can be performed.
Replace the disc with a disc that contains
sufficient recording time.
