    Where to Place the Speakers The front speakers should be placed the same distance from each other as they are from the listening position. They should be placed at about the same height from the floor as the listeners’ ears will be, or they may be angled toward the listeners.

    Remote Control Functions (Continued) Programming Macros Macros enable you to easily repeat frequently used combinations of commands with the press of a single button on the remote control. Once programmed, a macro will send out up to 19 different remote codes in a predetermined sequential order, enabling you to automate the process of turning on your system, changing devices, or other common tasks.

The Setup Menu will appear on the video display screen as shown in Figure 1. The left side of the screen will show the various options, and the box on the right side of the screen will show the current defaults.
