    The PTS wire is mandatory in vehicles equipped with a manual transmission; otherwise it is ONLY required for PitStop/Idle mode shutdown. When using an external relay, use a 1N4002 diode or larger. Directed Part No. 8616 Mini Relays must be used for this connection.     Soft reset A module reset will only erase the steps perfomed in “Module programming”. The firmware and settings flashed to the module will not be affected.
