Maintenance Sub-Menu
The maintenance menu enables the operator to view sensor and software versions. MSA Safety technical support has
access to other values as needed. The maintenance menu operation is described in the table below.

** Menu Unlock Sequence
Entry into the maintenance menu is protected and requires an unlock sequence to access the next level of menus. The
unlock sequence is executed by pressing the [▲] key 6 times. The firmware revision will be replaced by the first low-level
menu item, "SW Diag".
Further presses of either the [▲] or [▼] keys will cycle through the "SW Diag", "HW Diag" or "Version String".
The software diagnostic options ("SW Diag") are listed below. Press the [E] key to select any of the sub-menus.

Software diagnostics sub-menu.
Lists number of calls to internal Panic function.
Simulating gas value. Use the [▲] or [▼] keys to select from a series of pre-
defined integer values for simulating a gas concentration. TROUBLE
condition is also available for selection. The same procedure is followed to
CANCEL a simulated gas concentration or TROUBLE condition.
Displays last PSG command and gas value.
Displays the maximum gas value seen since power-up.
5100-99-IT specific. Used to adjust filter on input signal.
Display Modbus Register. Use the [▲] or [▼] keys to select from a series of
pre-defined Modbus register ranges, and subsequent individual Modbus
register for display.
