Laser Compliance and Precaution

The 1551 laser scanner complies with the following standards
for laser safety:
CDRH - Class II Laser Product (CFR 21 Subpart J)
This product has a maximum output of 1 mW at 630-680 nm.
Warning
There are no user serviceable parts inside this laser
scanner. Use of controls or adjustments or performance
of procedures other than those specified herein may
result in hazardous laser light exposure of up to 1 mW
at 630-680 nm.

The 1551 is UL Listed (UL 1950/C22.2 No. 950) and TÜV GS
licensed (EN 60950 and EN 60825-1) for safety when powered
by a host system or by an external Intermec power supply. UL
