8.3.4
Cleaning and oiling fastening tool
Use only Hilti spray. The use of other lubricants can cause malfunctions or damage the fastening tool.
Apply the Hilti spray only as a thin film. It is not permissible for beads to form. For example, after
applying the Hilti spray, rub the oiled surface down lightly with the cloth supplied with the spray.
Make sure that no oil makes its way into the cartridge chamber!
1. Unload the fastening tool (cartridges and fasteners) and dismantle the fastening tool. → page 25
2. Use the brushes supplied to clean the piston and piston guide (outside (1) and inside (2)).
