Connecting the device to your desktop
computer
You can connect the device to your desktop computer to backup data, synchronize
activities, transfer files, etc. by using Microsoft ActiveSync.
Connecting the device to the desktop computer with the
provided serial cable
1.
Turn on the device.
2.
Flip open the serial port cover as shown.
3.
Insert the 18-pin end of the supplied serial cable into the serial port on the
device.
4.
Insert the other end of the cable into the serial port on the desktop computer
that you plan to specify when you install ActiveSync.
