Safety Instructions General Safety Instructions • All equipment undergoes final inspection and testing before leaving our factory. However, if equipment is damaged during shipping or through any other circumstances, it must not be used in service. Please check the device regularly for damages. Damaged parts should be replaced immediately. -

Specific Safety Instructions Note: • Keep a minimum safe distance of 100 cm from the safety valve (back) to traffic areas or workplaces – Danger of scalding. • Ground yourself by touching the steam gun handle (7) and the contact screw (15). Alternatively lay your hand flat on the steam cleaner’s housing. -

If the heating control is not set to max., the control lamp heating (4) might shine, although the tank was filled up. However the STAR is ready for operation, but at low temperature. The heating is automatically activated and the lamp (4) shines. After approx. 18 min. -

Troubleshooting Machine doesn’t work after turning it on. a. Check the building’s fuse. b. Check device’s fuse. Safety valve (10) opens or water leaks. a. Slightly down-regulate controller (5) and call service. ATTENTION: If available don’t remove cover and don’t close opening. -

Note Clean and protect your device at regular intervals with the REITEL stainless steel care spray (order -no.: 90405000) to remove lime, plaster and dust as well as other contaminants from the surface of the equipment and to prevent corrosion. The spray creates a lasting, water repellent protective film which helps keep the equipment clean. -

Warranty We, REITEL Feinwerktechnik GmbH, offer a 1 year’s warranty beginning from the proven date of purchase. This warranty covers all defects traceable to materials, design or workmanship.
