Installation Codes

Governing installation codes vary depending on the location and
type of installation. Electrical installations must meet local and/or
national wiring codes and should be performed by a qualified
electrician.
An example of a national wiring code is the US National Electrical
Code (NEC, NFPA70) article 551 governing electrical installations
in RVs. In other geographical regions or for other applications,
other codes will apply. It is the installer's responsibility to identify
and apply all applicable codes.
