7.11.2 Tip-assist

The tip-assist makes overcoming obstacles easier for the attendant.

7.11.2.1 Using the tip-assist

For this wheelchair type, the tip-assist is integrated into the frame (see fig. 35).
1) At an obstacle, place one foot on the tip-assist and push down.
2) Slightly tip the wheelchair by simultaneously pressing down on the push handles.

7.12 Wheelbase extension

INFORMATION
A long wheelbase setting is essential for transfemoral amputees.
This option version offers the user a permanently large wheelbase (see fig. 36).
This allows characteristics such as particularly high wheelchair stability for especially safety-conscious or inexperi
enced users.
The wheel lock on the wheelchair has been installed by qualified personnel and can continue to be used.

7.13 Shock absorber system

The shock absorber system reduces loading peaks, for example when driving over small steps or curbs or on
uneven ground.

7.14 Front frame

The product can be delivered with two front frame versions:
Standard front frame: The wheelchair features a straight front frame without abduction (see fig. 38).
Abduction front frame: The frame is offset to the outside by 30 mm on both the left and right sides (see
fig. 39). This makes the entry area larger.
