6. Connecting the Console

6.1

Connecting the Scanner and the Console

The Scanner and the Console are connected with a LAN cable.
Connect the LAN cable to be connected to the Console to the extension NIC.
(Do not connect the Scanner LAN cable to the mother board.)
In case of System Version V1.3.1.0 and later,
PC monitor cable should be connected to the
lower Video board.
Refer to the Console and Software installation manual.
6.2 Connecting the Scanner and the Console
Power ON the Console PC and the monitor.
In the Windows log-on screen, enter "prexion" in the password column and press the "Enter" key.
The Console software starts up. Check that the "Scanner status indicator" changes to "White".

Do not connect to
the mother board.
Extension NIC
<Supplement to the network connection>
Use the NIC connector of
connecting to an in-hospital network.
The IP address of the network of the extension NIC is
"192.168.5.xxx". Use this for connection with the
Scanner.
