7.1
Checking voltages
Connect the power supply set to 9V/1A to the connection of the accu pack on the Main Boar and connect the Interface
Board. Don't connect the printer to the Interface Board.
Check the switch on/off possibilities. Switch on and off the device by the on/off button.
Check the following signals:

GND can be found at the point of J1.4.

Checking printing
7.3.1 With printer partially connected

Connect a 4700uF capacitor in parallel with the power supply (9V max. current limit) substituting the battery.

Connect only the printer motor connection and load the paper. Connect a short on the ECG input.
Test procedure
Burn impulse test
Simultaneously with the burn impulse test check the following:

Stop supplying burn impulses. After approx. 3 seconds measure the burn voltage.

7.3.2 Print test with printer
Connect the burning head as well and start 50mm/sec on-line printing. Watch the signal shape, that the displayed
curves are continuous, there are no breaks, spikes, faded sections.
Further, measure the power consumption at the battery connection's negative point:

Backlight is operational when the device is on.
The LCD contrast is acceptable, not foggy, the LCD is operational.
In the test menu (HS80G-L) or make sure the appropriate function is
performed when the buttons are pressed (HS60G)

Max. 5ms burn time, measure at J1.1 on the Interface Board (active signal at high
level).
