When using the parallel guide fence on the left side
of the machine, the cutting width is the direct
distance between the guiding surface of the guide
fence and the tracing edge (23). This distance is the
same for all cutting angles!
When using the parallel guide fence on the right
side of the machine, the tracing edges (24), which
are graded by cutting angle, apply.
When you cut with the right side of the chain at the
scribe mark, you must subtract the chain width (6.8
mm [0.27 in] for a vertical cut).
A test cut is recommended to determine the correct
setting.

4.7 Adjustment for angle cuts

To perform bevel and compound cuts, the chain guide rail can be swiveled up to 60° in both directions.
