VI. SERVICE DIAGNOSIS
PROBLEM
[1] The ice dispenser
will not start.
[2] Ice dispensing
operates, but no ice
is produced.
[3] Water Valve
operates, but no ice
is produced.
[4] Compressor will not
start, or operates
intermittently.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
a) Power Supply
b) Power Switch
(Control Box)
c) Fuse (Control Box)
a) Water Control Relay
b) Pressure Switch
c) Compressor
a) Water Supply Line
b) Water Valve
c) Bin Control
d) Pressure Switch
e) Ice Making Switch
f) Compressor
a) Pressure Switch
1. OFF position.
2. Loose connection.
3. Bad contacts.
4. Blown fuse.
1. Off position.
2. Bad contacts.
1. Blown out.
1. Bad contacts.
2. Coil winding opened. 2. Replace.
1. Bad contacts.
2. Loose connections.
1. Valve seat clogged
and water leaking.
1. Water supply tap
closed.
2. Water failure.
1. Clogged.
1. Tripped with bin filled
with ice.
2. Out of position.
3. Bad contacts.
4. Activator removed.
1. Bad contacts.

1. Will not start.
1. Dirty Air Filter or
Condenser.
2. Ambient or
condenser water

REMEDY
1. Move to ON position.
2. Tighten.
3. Check for contintinuity
and replace.
4. Replace.

2. Tighten.
1. Clean or replace
