8. FIRST POWER-UP AND START-UP

8.1 INTRODUCTION

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK OR ELECTRIC ARC
• Do not install the equipment while the power supply is connected.
• Cutoffthepowersupplytoallequipment,includinganyconnecteddevices,andremovethepowerfusesbeforeremoving
anycoversorhatches,orbeforeinstalling/uninstallingaccessories,hardware,cablesorwires.
• AlwaysuseaproperlycalibratedVoltmetertomakesurethesystemispoweredoff.
• Do not touch the unshielded components or the terminals while they are live.
• Makesurethereisaneffectiveearthconnection;ifthereisnot,earththeequipment.
• Beforepoweringuptheequipment,checkallthewiringconnections.
MALFUNCTIONING OF THE EQUIPMENT
• Makesurethewatermainsiscorrectlyconnected.
• Makesuretherearenotrapsinthedrainageduct.
• Makesurethehumidityoutletclosureclampsareproperlytightened.
• Makesuretherearenopocketsofcondensateorthrottlinginthemist(humidity)deliverychannel.

8.2 SWITCHING ON THE HUMIDIFIER

To start up the humidifier follow the instructions given in the table below.
Instructions
1. Do the wiring for the humidifier according to the
required configuration
2. Activate the isolator installed outside the humidifier
and open the water supply source
3. Openthewaterinletshutoffcockupstreamofthe
humidifier
4. The humidifier will start a water draining and filling
cycle
5. Set the CFG parameter depending on the required
mode of operation.
6. Configure the machine parameters according to
the characteristics of the water and usage of the
humidifier
7. Setthehumiditysetpointto100%
8.  C heckforhumidityproduction
9. Set the humidity setpoint to the desired value
10. The humidifier periodically (parameter C1)
fullydrainsthewaterandreplacesitcyclically,
performingthewashingprocedure,inorderto
maintain efficient humidifier operating conditions

8.3 CHECKS TO BE CARRIED OUT EACH TIME THE HUMIDIFIER IS SWITCHED ON

Eachtimethehumidifieristurnedon,performthefollowingchecks:
1. Checkthatthemistdeliveryisconsistentwiththedemandforhumidity;
2. Makesuretherearenohydraulicleaks;
3. Checkthattherearenoalertsinprogress(seealertstable).
