The clamp openings can accommodate M8, M10 or M12 bolts, based on
the bolt hole size on the grinder head. You will need to use the plastic
bushing (#54) with the M10 bolts.

Screw an M6 nut (#9) onto the guard bar (#8). Insert the guard bar into
the opening on the guard' s (#10) concave side. Screw a second M6 nut
(#11) onto the guard bar' s protruding section until secure.

Insert the guard bar' s other end into the opening at the rear of the arm
(#44). Slide the guard into position so it covers the grinding disc
without touching it. Secure the bar with the M5x10 fixed screw (#21)
(Fig. 3).

Pull the angle grinder down so the installed disc enters the slot on the
right side. Adjust the upper and lower bolts in the stand until the disc
is centered in the slot.

Use a square to make sure the disc is at a 90° angle to the base.

The angle grinder is ready for use.

OPERATION

Read the angle grinder' s operation instructions before using this tool.
1.
Place the angle grinder stand on a flat surface.

Optional: Secure the base to the workbench or pedestal with bolts
through the front and rear bolt holes. Check that the base cannot
move.
2.
Install the grinder (see Assembly & Installation Steps 5 to 8).
3.
Open the movable vise jaw (#40) by pressing
the quick release button (Fig. 4-1) and pulling
the thread bar (#34) out to accommodate the
workpiece.
4.
An angle cut will require a change in the fixed
vise jaw position.
a.
Loosen the rear screw in the fixed vise
jaw (#29).
b.
Pivot the jaw to the desired angle between 0° and 45° to the left
or right.
c.
Tighten the fixed vise jaw' s rear screw.
5.
Place the workpiece against the fixed vise jaw (#29).
