Functions and dialog boxes

To the left of the TVG curve display is a slider with a range from -30 to 130. This represents

the system gain. Moving this slider down until the line intersects the green TVG curve will

cause a Range-Gain pair of values to be displayed in the "Range-Gain" box. Adjust this

slider to determine the gain at a particular range.

When the Sonar Head is running, a graphic representation of the receive signal will appear

at the bottom of the dialog box so that you can ensure that the signal is not being clipped. A

slider is provided so that you can exclude the low end percent of the gain.

Note

The position of these two sliders will not be saved when closing this dialog box.
