Ex-Zone 1 or Ex-Zone 21. The rotary encoder consists of a flameproof en- capsulated enclosure (6) made of stainless steel or aluminum. The evaluation elec- tronics for detection of the position change is installed by TR-Electronic. The signal of the position change respectively angle change is transmitted by a bearing-mounted shaft (5) by means of a rotary encoder.
