Cisco 3825 Mobile Wireless Edge Router RAN-O Command Reference

gsm-abis retransmit

To enable retransmission of repetitive subrate sample, use the gsm-abis retransmit Interface
configuration command. This command is useful when the latency introduced by the characteristics of
the backhaul network is excessive. Examples are the use of satellite transmission facilities or multiple
router hops on the backhaul network.

The following example shows how a retransmit delay of 100 ms:

gsm-abis retransmit [sample-delay]
The number of duplicate samples that must be observed before the duplicate
sample will be retransmitted. The sample-delay in a range of 5 to 255 or 100
to 5100 ms at 20 ms intervals.
