GETTING STARTED

Before using your appliance for the first time, remove all packing material such as plastics, stickers or
tags that may be attached to the components. Clean the appliance and accessories, see instructions:
"Cleaning and Care".
Always prepare the ingredients: Rinse them thoroughly and cut them into 4 to 6 pieces and remove any
hard or large seeds. Remove any thick peel from the fruit or vegetables.

USING THE PRODUCT

Cleaning - Make sure that you start with a clean jug, rinse the jug before use.

Maximum load
You can blend maximum 1.5L of ingredients with the blender, in order to avoid splashing out ingredi-
ents. WARNING! We recommend to allow hot liquids to cool down (max 90 °C) before filling the jug.
Fill the jug only half full and start blending on low speed. The blender jug can become very warm,
operate with caution to protect your hands and to ventilate steam out through the filler hole.

Jug assembly.
Rotate the blade clockwise to lock it to the base. Place the lid on the jug, make sure that the lid is
tightly fitted. Fit the measuring cup in the lid by rotating clockwise until it clicks into position. You
can add ingredients through the filler hole, while the blender is not in operation.Turn the unit with the
ingredients upside down.

Placing the jug on base unit
Place the jug on the base unit with the handle to the right. Rotate it clockwise until it locks into
position. (The jug can only be placed in one position, the handle facing you). Place the ingredients
in the jug.

Choosing the right speed or program
You have present speeds 1-5, Ice crush, and Pulse mode to choose from. You can activate any
speed by rotating the Speed selector clockwise or anti-clockwise. With Pulse mode you can give
the ingredients a quick mix to achieve your desired consistency. To stop the blender just rotate the
Speed selector to 0 position.
WARNING! Never remove the measuring cup or the lid while running the product. Never run the
blender empty running the blender empty can cause overheating and can damage the product.
Keep hands and utensils out of the blender jug while blending.

Cleaning after use - We recommend that you wash the components right after use in order to avoid
drying of food residue on components.
IMPORTANT! To avoid crazing of the jug, always rinse the jug with clean water directly after use in
order to prevent acids or essential oils decolouring the plastic material. Always rinse the jug clean
even before placing it into the dishwasher. Fill the jug with luke warm water, close the lid and place
the jug on the base unit.
